General Apartmanı is an Apartment Building located in Ortahisar, Trabzon.
History
Built in 1976, it serves both as an apartment building, and a business center. There is a tiny passage on the ground floor, and consists of 2 blocks.
Elevator
The building originally had a single-speed Schlieren elevator with a wooden cab, which was later modernized with Kayatec fixtures. At one point, it became stuck on the 2nd floor before being completely replaced by Trabzon Asansör using Butkon fixtures. Interestingly, the original Kayatec LOP and the single-speed motor were kept until early 2026, when the LOPs were finally replaced with Butkon Truva fixtures, announcements added, and a VVVF inverter was added to the motor.
