Kale Apt. is a residential building located in Ortahisar, Trabzon.

History

The building is believed to have been built in the early 1990s. Even though it looks like one massive building, it’s actually split into two wings, and getting from one side to the other is known to be quite a maze.

Elevators

There are two CEFS elevators in the building - one in the left wing and one in the right wing. The elevator on the right was modernized by SEAL using BUT-SAN fixtures.

On the other hand, the left elevator has remained completely original, except for the ground floor call button, which was replaced by SEAL with a DELTATEK fixture. This elevator is actually the only known surviving model that still has its original CEFS installation with Schindler R-Series call buttons.
