The Rüştü Araz Business Center is an office building located in Ortahisar, Trabzon.
History
The building was built back in 1977 as a business center. For a long time, it was used as a private tutoring school (dershane) and hosted several different test-prep institutions over the years.
Elevator
The building used to have a Schlieren elevator. It probably started out with Drulux fixtures, got modernized later with Aybey KSD fixtures, and then was modernized again by SEAL (?) using BUT-SAN F6 fixtures. It had a wooden cabin, no inner door, and the floor leveling was terrible since it was a single-speed motor. In 2023, it was completely ripped out and replaced by FATEX with a brand-new elevator featuring Butkon Galaxy and Yakamoz fixtures.
Unfortunately, there's no footage of the old elevator left, except for some old security camera clips.
